Featured Story

I had the opportunity to spend part of yesterday afternoon with a group of Year 7 students. Ms Callow and Mrs Jovanovic and I were explaining to the group some of the history of buildings around the school and plans for the future.

One of the things that I like about this school is the degree to which students are able through projects to make a physical contribution to the school environment through their art work. The group of Year 7’s that I was with were preparing to produce a piece of work for the “Boulevard of Dreams”. It was a pleasure to see the degree of enthusiasm and interest in their school, equally it was wonderful to see yet another group of students working closely with one of the school’s treasures Lou Callow. We have much to look forward to if this group (as I am sure they do) reflects the nature and quality of the students coming through the school.

I wish everyone a safe and restful long weekend.
