Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability

Across Australia, it is compulsory for all schools to participate in the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability (NCCDSSD).  This data collection occurs annually where schools are required to complete information for the government including Census statistics and Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability (NCCDSSD). A letter relating to the NCCDSSD is being sent to ALL BMG families this week explaining the process that is required by schools. All families will receive this letter, whether or not your child is to be included in the NCCDSSD data. A copy of the letter is attached to this newsletter for your reference.

Year Eight Community Service Day

Congratulations to the staff and students involved in the Year 8 community service day, held in front of the John Lever Building [school gymnasium] last Friday. It was pleasing to see a range of events and activities for staff and students to participate in, students were permitted to wear sporting attire, representing their involvement in a local community group. An announcement in relation to the amount of funds raised and where the funds will be allocated, is included in a report from Ms Lipscombe. Well done to all.
