I must remind students that travelling on the School busses is a service provided by Bacchus Marsh Grammar and each students’ place on the bus comes with expectations. Students should always travel in a safe and courteous manner. Being well behaved on the bus encourages a safe environment for all passengers and allows the bus driver to go about his/her job with a minimum of STRESS. Being loud, throwing objects, teasing others, vandalism, graffiti, etc. is not being well behaved and students committing these offences will be dealt with accordingly. Students who are unable to behave in a safe and courteous manner will place their position on the school bus in jeopardy. Please remind your son/daughter of their obligations whilst travelling on the School busses.

All Year 12 students (school leaders by virtue of being Year 12) have been appointed as bus captains to monitor student's behaviour. The bus captains’ role is to be a point of contact for Junior School students who are having difficulties and act as role models for all students travelling on the busses.

Parents are not to make contact with the bus captains, if there are any concerns regarding your child travelling on the School bus; please make contact with the Mrs O’Day [Junior School] or Mrs Jovanovic [Senior School].

I would also ask that parents be mindful of their responsibilities when delivering their children to the bus stops. If you are arriving by vehicle, do not obstruct driveways of houses in the surrounding streets of the bus stop. Park in a manner that is not obstructing the pathway of the busses in and out of the bus stop and other traffic. Please ensure that your child approaches the bus in a safe manner, crossing the roads and streets, being mindful of the oncoming traffic.
