Featured Story

I welcome students, parents and staff to the commencement of Term 4.  It has been a great opportunity for me to take a combination of Sabbatical and Long Service Leave over last term and I would like to thank all staff but in particular Kevin Richardson, Liz O’Day, Jenny Jovanovic, Greg Gough and all senior staff for taking up extra responsibilities to enable the school to run smoothly.  I will write further of some of the things that have come out of my Sabbatical Leave which will enable us to improve our practice at the school in weeks to come.

The school will be opening an Early Learning Centre facility for 2 year old to four year old children at Woodlea in 2017.  The Woodlea Development will be having an open day style celebration this weekend and the school will be represented.  I encourage anyone who is interested to visit Woodlea over the weekend or if you are unable to attend and have an interest in the Woodlea ELC to contact Kerry Osborn (Director of the ELC) at the school to discuss your interest.

A range of building projects have commenced at the school and I apologise in advance for any disruption.  I will discuss the building projects in subsequent newsletters.  At present projects are running on schedule and we are basically looking at another major change to the face of the school by the end of Term One 2017.
