The past week has seen the end of Year 12 examinations, change in the school landscape and a new era with the first delivery of buildings for the new Early Learning Centre at Woodlea.

Congratulations to the Year 12 students and staff for keeping the exams calm and focused during the exam period. I would also like to thank the wider school community for supporting the Year 12 students through the examination period. I wish all students well with their results and their future endeavours.

There have been major changes in the landscape of the School particularly in the Junior School with the removal of the old Health Centre, Uniform Shop and classroom buildings.  During this period there have been significant changes and the relocation of classes and staff offices. The key focus for the school is to keep the whole community safe whilst construction works are underway. I would like to thank students, staff and the school community for their patience and understanding during this period of disruption and growth. I am confident the end product will be of great benefit.

On Wednesday a new era for BMG began with the first delivery of modular buildings for the Early Learning Centre temporary site at Woodlea. Delivery and construction will continue for the remainder of the week. Registration of Interest for Enrolments are being taken for the centre and the School is preparing to proceed to the second phase of the enrolment procedure.  If you are interested in a position for your child looking for exceptional care and comprehensive Kindergarten programs, please visit our school web site and complete the Registration.

Orientation day was held on Tuesday and the school welcomed students in Prep Reception, Prep and Year 7, 2017. I would like to thank the new students, staff and especially the Year 9 Leaders and music students who gave up their study day to help the 2017 Year 7 students integrate into school life at BMG.
