Featured Story

It has been an extremely busy week in relation to building works at the School.  Modules arrived at Woodlea this week for the School’s Early Learning Long Day Centre (ELC) which will be ready for opening in the new year.  Entering earlier childhood education for the first time is an important step for the School.  In establishing our ELC a great deal of effort is going into planning a centre that reflects the calm and structured values of BMG and the establishment of a program that has “early learning” rather than “day care” at its heart.

On site work commenced this week on two new buildings for the Junior School.  By the end of the first term next year, space equivalent to 20 new classrooms will have been constructed.  In the space of a little over two years every class in the Junior School will have been re-housed.  This is an enormous effort; the scale and significance of which should not be under estimated.  I would like to thank staff, contractors and all those who have worked so hard to make this happen.
