Featured Story

We are fast approaching the end of the year.  Last night I attended the Grade 6 Graduation Dinner.  I would like to congratulate all students on the way they presented themselves and enjoyed the evening.  They finish Primary school on a high note and I look forward to their contribution to the school in coming years.

Congratulations also to our students involved in the Massive Murray Marathon who in our first year in the event have won the Nyerna Trophy.  The trophy is awarded to the school that best expresses the spirit of youth, spirit of the school and enthusiasm for being out on the river.  The award looks at how well you compete and encourage others and the balance of fun and respect that competitors are able to show.  What a great award for our students to achieve and what a wonderful reflection of the values we are looking for our students to display and live.

As this is the last Newsletter of the year I wish you all a happy, restful and safe break.  For those celebrating major religious festivals may you enjoy a sense of peace and joy.  I look forward to 2017.
