Featured Story

Congratulations to all of those who were involved in hosting the Year 7 Egyptian Food Experience last Friday.  It was pleasing to see so many happy and involved young people.  Special thanks to Dyna Buntine, Jacqui Huxtable, Zoe Erickson, Celia Patterson, Laura Edwards, Shelly Frislie, Wendy Porter, Aleesha Pettifer, Cathy Perconte and the Year 7 students and staff.

Work has commenced on the next section of the new double story building in the primary school.  This has meant that access to parts of the site are more difficult than they usually are, however, we are almost there with major building works being scheduled for completion by May.  Approval has also been given for the establishment of a major new hard surface for the east of the school site, which will further expand available play space.

The wet weather has ignited the issue of the old Spray Jackets. Spray Jackets are no longer part of the School uniform. Warning of the phase out of this item occurred some years ago. Apart from being the item of clothing that caused the most unifom issues the item of clothing was/is not waterproof. It has been replaced with the Anorak, which is wind and waterproof and has multiple uses in programs across the school.

Please read the Junior & Senior School General news section on page 2 for more detailed discussion of this matter.
