The Hubs Program

The Junior School after school programs are:

  • The Learning Hub
  • The Sports Hub
  • Clubs Program

 

The Learning Hub

  • Monday - Friday
  • 3.05pm - 5.30pm

Bacchus Marsh Grammar operates a program to cater for students from 3.05pm-5.30pm each night Monday to Friday. This program is called The Learning Hub. Students will be given a snack and a drink on arrival. All students attending the program are expected to complete their homework as part of the program, with the exception of nights when students participate in The Sports Hub program. Please refer to the 2017 Business notice for all associated costs with this program.

The Sports Hub

  • Monday - Thursday
  • 3.05pm - 4.30pm

The Sports Hub operates four afternoons per week during each school term with the exception of Term One where the program begins week three, Monday 13th February 2017. Students must be collected promptly at 4.30pm. Students not collected at this time will be sent to The Learning Hub program and there will be a cost incurred for this care. The Sports Hub is proposed to operate Monday to Thursday afternoon from 3.05p.m. – 4.30p.m. There are costs associated with this program. Please refer to the 2017 Business Notice.

 

CLUBS

  • 3.05pm - 4.00pm

The purpose of the Clubs Program in the Junior School is to further enhance the physical activity levels of students as well as providing opportunities for junior students to participate in organised and competitive sport as regularly as possible. Sports offered in 2017 will include Netball, Basketball, Triathlon and Equestrian. CLUB Hub is designed to provide training for sports which parents are responsible to take students to participate in. These sports often operate on weekends. Students compete in Bacchus Marsh Grammar school teams. There are some levies associated with this program. Please refer to the 2017 Business notice.
