Staughton Vale

A new era for Bacchus Marsh Grammar

Bacchus Marsh Grammar has acquired a 210 plus acre property at Staughton Vale. As a property it is hard to imagine a site that is more typical of the iconic Australian landscape.

The property is located approximately 25 minutes from the School's Maddingley campus and abuts the Brisbane Ranges National Park.

The site has been purchased as an adjunct campus and will enable the development of a range of activities and programs that are presently hampered by constraints of space.

The site is currently used as an orchard and for mixed farming. It is the School's intention to continue to operate the orchard and maintain focus on the site both as an educational and productive resource.

One of the central aims of this purchase is to provide a focus for the further development of curriculum for Years 5-8 students. In particular the aim is to use the broad theme of "natural history" to enable students to build academic and practical.

Staughton Vale is a magical place and provides a marvellous new way for Bacchus Marsh Grammar to enhance the education of students.
