Report from Mrs Georgia Low
On Friday 18 October, the BMG Equestrian Team hosted and competed in our annual Show Jumping and Dressage Day. This year was even more significant as it was the final Show Jumping round on the interschool calendar.
Olivia Rivette, Madison Robins, Ella Frisch, Chanel Radburn, Sarah Robins, Milly Swan, Kane Radburn and their horses represented BMG on the day, however, the rest of the team were on the ground, volunteering, ensuring the day ran smoothly.
At the conclusion of the event, final scores were tallied and as well as Kane, Sarah and Olivia winning the School Team Champions in Show Jumping, BMG as a whole, placed 5th out of 46 schools this series. Special mention to Sarah Robins who placed overall Champion in her division for the entire series.
We are all very excited and looking forward to the final Dressage Day in early December. Best of luck to those riders who are training hard in preparation.
I would like to thank everyone who contributed, participated, volunteered and supported our riders throughout the year. As the series begins to wind down, we are looking forward to a well earnt break over summer before saddling up and starting again in February.
