Late Buses 2025

Maddingley

The late bus out of Maddingley will operate on a TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY afternoon. The service will begin Tuesday 11 February. The term dates of charter are as follows:

• Term 1   11 February – 03 April 2025
• Term 2   23 April – 26June 2025
• Term 3   22 July – 18 September 2025
• Term 4   07 October – 11 December 2025

The late bus is available for students in Year 5 to Year 12 who are required to be involved in an afterschool class or afterschool activity. Students must sign up PRIOR to 1.30pm on the day of travel.

The bus will depart at 4.40pm from the bus quay.

The two buses will have identification on the front of the bus window displaying the route:

• LATE BUS 1
  Melton, Caroline Springs, Tarneit
• LATE BUS 2
  Manor Lakes, Werribee, Hoppers Crossing

Woodlea

The late bus out of Woodlea will operate on a TUESDAY & THURSDAY afternoon. The service will begin Tuesday 11 February. The term dates of charter are as follows:

• Term 1   11 February – 13 March 2025
• Term 2   29 April – 19 June 2025
• Term 3   DATES TBA
• Term 4   DATES TBA

The late bus is available for students in Year 5 to Year 11 who are required to be involved in an afterschool class or afterschool activity. Students must sign up PRIOR to 1.30pm on the day of travel.

The bus will depart at 4.40pm from the bus quay.

ID Cards

All students have been issued with their student ID card for 2025. Students MUST use their Student ID card to tap on/off the bus. Student ID cards are compulsory when boarding a private bus or attending all school excursions/camps etc and they must be always carried. Students who board the bus repeatedly without their ID cards will receive a detention or further consequences.

Student Permission Cards

Students in Prep – Year 6 require a green permission tag on their bag if they are to disembark the bus to be picked up by someone other than their parent/guardian. Students in Years 5 & 6 can disembark the bus on their own if they have a green permission tag on their bag for the driver to check. Student Afternoon Bus Arrangement & Permission Notices are available on Schoolbox under School Letters. Please return Student Afternoon Bus Arrangement & Permission Notices to bus@bmg.vic.edu.au. 2024 Student Permission tags will be removed from the students’ bags on Friday 14 February 2025. Any student requiring a permission tag for 2025 must have an updated Student Afternoon Bus Arrangement & Permission Notice completed by this date so a 2025 replacement tag can be attached to their bag.

Hillside Timetable – Road works disruption

Due to road works on Hume Drive on the HILLSIDE route, stop 56 Hume Drive is not accessible for the bus to utilise for students to board or disembark. Students can go to a different stop in the interim on the HILLSIDE route to board and disembark until the road works have been completed. Parents will be notified when the stop is re-opened.
