Modern History Incursion – Vietnam Veterans

On Thursday 24 August, the Unit 1/2 Modern History class had the privilege of interviewing Vietnam Veterans from the Vietnam Veterans Association of Australia Melbourne West Sub-branch. This opportunity allowed us to better understand the conflict in Vietnam and how it affected Australian, New Zealand and United States soldiers. We were also able to gather original primary evidence for our upcoming Assessment Task examining the causes and outcomes of the Vietnam War. We extend our gratitude to all Veterans who visited us on this day. It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity we will not soon forget.
