There has been considerable gratitude expressed for what has been done for our young people, and new found respect for what teachers do every day.

At the beginning of the school year, it was pleasing that classes commenced in the new Senior School Centre. This impressive three storey facility is a wonderful asset to the school. The students have settled into their new surroundings with the Year 12 cohort enjoying a state of the art building and facilities with dedicated Year 12 learning areas.

This year has been another excellent one for the school. As we come to the end of the year, I would like to talk about a person who epitomises what the school is about and share some good news.

At the heart of what we do is academic achievement and it has been wonderful to see that last year two students at the school gained VCE Premier’s Awards. These awards recognise overall achievement and academic success in a particular subject.

The school is pleased to announce that work has commenced on a major new $7.2 million dollar project for the Senior School. The Senior Study Complex will see the replacement of the oldest buildings in the school with a modern three-storey complex for senior students.
