9 GABBY VILLEGAS – TENNIS Gabby has produced outstanding results in Tennis throughout 2019. She represented Bacchus Marsh Grammar in the Team Victoria 12 Years and Under Tennis Team at the School Sport Australia Bruce Cup Championship held in Perth. Gabby went through the tournament undefeated, with Victoria winning a Bronze Medal. Gabby also competed in the 12 and 14 Year Age Group Australian Grass Court Championships in Perth. She continued her great form progressing to the semi finals. Once again, Gabby won a Bronze Medal in the 3rd and 4th playoff. Currently Gabby is ranked 10th in Australia for her age group. ZALI WARD – FIELD HOCKEY Zali has had an outstanding year in Field Hockey. She was selected to attend an Emerging Victoria Girls’ Training Squad in November to January and was selected to represent both VictoriaandSchool Sport Victoriaat National Championships. In April, she was part of the Under 18 Victorian Team that finished a close fourth at the Nationals in Hobart and then, in August, competing in the Under 16 School Sport Victoria Team, she finished with a Bronze Medal in Newcastle. Due to her outstanding performance in this tournament, Zali was named in the Under 16 All Australian Girls’ Team.
