- Page 32 - CONTENTS - HOOP TIME JUNIORS - YEARS 3 AND 4 Teacher: Allison Weir, Michelle Elcoat and Imogen Smith Time: Tuesday Lunchtime Location: Gymnasium STUDENT CHOICE PROGRAM OVERVIEW Hoop Time is a series of one-day basketball round robins held at local basketball stadiums around Victoria, presented by Basketball Victoria. With a 40 year history, the program offers primary school children the opportunity to play in a fun and very competitive inter-school competition. SKILL DEVELOPMENT Sessions will begin with skills and drills and then children will be placed in teams and participate in round robin competitions against each other. To finish the year, students will be selected to represent Bacchus Marsh Grammar in the Hoop Time competition. COMPETITION This year we will be entering teams from Years 3 and 4 (Junior), and depending on numbers we will host Boys, Girls and Mixed teams. Juniors are scheduled to play at Eagle Stadium, Werribee on Wednesday 27 th August. In preparation for this exciting event, students will train each week on Tuesday during lunchtime. They will be coached by Allison Weir, Michelle Elcoat and Imogen Smith.
