Students will form an understanding of what art is to them through creating collaborative and individual artworks. Students draw upon and expand their existing skills in the making of art for public display or personal development. LESSON COMPONENTS Students will discuss art making then work individually and collaboratively to create artworks at their own pace. What to bring: Art Smock, Curiosity, Energy and Enthusiasm SKILL DEVELOPMENT These classes will provide students with the opportunity to:  Question why we make art  Get messy with new mediums  Problem solve when making artworks  Be brave when making personal work SELECTION CRITERIA Art Club will be available to students in Years 3 and 4 who would like to develop art skills, work collaboratively with other students and understand what art means to themselves
