- Page 34 - CONTENTS - PERCUSSION ENSEMBLE The Percussion Ensemble is open to all students with some experience playing drum kit or percussion instruments. This group is an excellent way for students to develop their sense of beat, rhythm and coordination, in addition to promoting confidence and teamwork. The Percussion Ensemble is run by Mr Caruana and rehearses in the Hall each Friday during lunchtime. GUITAR ENSEMBLE The Guitar Ensemble is open to all students who have some experience playing either acoustic, electric or bass guitar. This group explores a variety of traditional and contemporary repertoire and provides an excellent focus for students currently receiving Instrumental Music lessons. The Guitar Ensemble rehearses in the Hall each Friday during lunchtime and is run by Mr Burcul and Mr Arancibia. MIDDLE SCHOOL MUSICAL Disney Aladdin Junior has been selected as the 2019 Musical. All students in Years 5 and 6 were invited to be involved. Rehearsals have already begun and will continue on Tuesdays after school from 3:05pm – 4:30pm in the Hall. The performances will be held at The Wyndham Cultural Centre with professional staging, sound and lighting in Term Four.
