9 Our BMG Community has expressed overwhelming support and gratitude to all teaching staff during remote learning. Teachers received thoughtful emails daily from parents and many were inundated with cards and gifts. The commitment of staff and their exceptional efforts during this unprecedented time are nothing short of remarkable. They are a true credit to the school, to the students’ ability to focus and be motivated each day and with student welfare uppermost in mind at all times. GRATITUDE Dear Mrs Stephens, Ms Hegarty, Ms Christou & Mrs Di Mieri, Fantastic achievement. The effort and commitment our children received was first class - well done to you all. To learn and improvise as you did all at a moment’s notice was just amazing. Only, in talking to other parents who had children in government / catholic / other independent schools can we really appreciate how fortunate we were as parents. I’m betting the waiting list grew a little longer for entry into BMG as a direct result of your exemplary focus and passion. You are all a credit to not just the school, but moreover, your profession. On behalf of my wife and I, well done and again thank you. Mr Jeremy Heffernan Witnessing how other schools conducted remote learning we were so gladwemade the decision to choose BMGas the school for our daughter. Having face to face learning was great as she was held accountable for her learning. Having the teacher always there to answer any questions made what has been challenging for some families a blessing. It took the added pressures off our family. We were able to witness our child growing in her education and were so proud of what she has and can achieve. I don’t think we realised as parents just how much time and effort it takes to teach our children. The added pressures of 100s of emails and technology problems an added stress on the teachers. Our child thankfully adapted quite quickly so we were able to allow her to do what she needed to do. Thank you to all of the Teachers, IT staff and Administration at BMG, it’s been great!!!
