Thank you!” Years 1 and 2 – Chrissie Perry “I could tell from my sessions with Years 1 and 2 at Bacchus Marsh Grammar, that books and reading are embraced, as they should be. I was particularly impressed by the emotionally intelligent advice the children gave to my (faulty) fictional character, Penelope Perfect. We read to build empathy and these children have it in spades.
