For the first time in 2019 Bacchus Marsh Grammar in conjunction with Sportsready AFL will offer three traineeships for students who have recently completed their VCE studies.
Traineeship locations:
- Two Traineeships will be at Maddingley Campus,
- One Traineeship will be at the Woodlea Campus.
About the program:
The trainees:
- will undergo this “Gap Year” and gain experience working with the Physical Education and Outdoor Environment staff, providing assistance to the Department in the planning and delivery of quality programs, sports carnivals, school camps, equipment management and general sports administration.
- will also complete vocational training through the AFL’s Registered Training Program (either Certificate II, III, IV or Diploma Level in Sport and Recreation).
The application process:
The school invites current Year 12 students with a strong interest in Sport and Recreation, who have strong organisational skills, are able to work in a team, have good communication skills and enjoy working with a range of people to submit a current Curricula Vitae and a one page cover letter that explains why the candidate would like to apply for this year long position and specify their preferred campus.
