Students will interact and get to know the other students and staff attending their tour. The purpose of this program is to introduce the students to what to expect on the tour and prepare for the journey. LESSON COMPONENTS  Students will research the towns, cities, locations and areas they will visit on their study tour.  They will learn about the Vietnamese currency (Dong), how to calculate exchange rates and how to barter.  Students will learn some introductory language and be able to investigate and develop a thorough understanding of what they are about to encounter abroad.  Students explore the necessities for international travel.  Student will learn about Vietnam ’ s rich history and investigate significant times and events.
